In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Sister City relationship between Chicago and Milan, the 2013 Year of Italian Culture in the United States and the bicentennial of the birth of Giuseppe Verdi, the Milan Committee of CSCI is sponsoring a free concert performance of Verdi’s Requiem Mass for two pianos and four soloists.
The concert is presented by the Italian organization “Waiting For…” which works to promote culture and the arts through events and initiatives that enhance the creativity and talent of young artists. This particular performance is titled “Waiting for Verdi.”
