Chairs Aleksandra Efimova and Prince Piotr Galitzine of the Moscow Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International, in partnership with the US-Russia Chamber of Commerce invite you to the Third Annual Russia Day Gala at the Drake Hotel’s Gold Coast Ballroom.
The black tie gala will honor His Excellency Sergey I. Kislyak, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States.
The event honors Russia’s national holiday, which is celebrated on June 12 and commemorates the day when the Russian Parliament formally declared sovereignty over Russia in 1990. The Russia Day celebration in Chicago is unique in that it is the only Russian National Day celebration organized by a non-governmental body in the United States.
Collaboration between the United States and the Russian Federation has been growing rapidly throughout the last few years. This event presents a unique opportunity to build upon an already strong foundation of business exchange between the Siter Cities of Chicago and Moscow. The extensive Russian-speaking community in Chicago is committed to continuing to grow ties between the two sister cities.
Individual Tickets are $250 per person.
