Spinosaurus Discovered by Casablanca Committee Member

University of Chicago paleontologist Nizar Ibrahim, a National Geographic Society Emerging Explorer—and member of the Casablanca Committee of Chicago Sister Cities—discovered Spinosaurus, the biggest and baddest among meat-eating dinosaurs. It was bigger than T. Rex and the first dinosaur known to swim. The dinosaur was found in Morocco and its discovery spans several sister cities.
