Recently, Hamburg’s G18 completed another successful visit to Chicago as part of an on-going, 10-year long exchange between G18 and Chicago’s Robert Morris University. This successful relationship, organized by the two schools, has proved fruitful for participants from both Chicago and Hamburg. The students from G18 spend several weeks in Chicago, studying at the school and learning about Chicago, and students from Robert Morris University have the opportunity to study abroad at G18 in Hamburg.
On the most recent visit, Hamburg Committee Chair Rolf Achilles organized outside-of-the-classroom programming on Chicago culture and history for the German students. He met with the group and led a tour of Chicago’s architecture and history, which proved valuable to the students’ learning experience during the trip
