Chicago City Council Passes Resolutions to Mark Anniversaries of Four of Chicago’s Sister City Relationships

Today, Chicago City Council passed resolutions to mark the anniversaries of four of Chicago’s sister city relationships: 25 years with Kyiv, Ukraine; Mexico City, Mexico; and Toronto, Canada; and 20 years with Paris, France.

The resolutions were presented to the Honorable Larysa Gerasko, Consul General of Ukraine; the Honorable Carlos Martín Jiménez Macías, Consul General of the United Mexican States; the Honorable Roy Norton, Consul General of Canada; and the Honorable Vincent Floreani, Consul General of the French Republic.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel was present to congratulate the Consuls General and the respective sister city committees chairs.
