Observations from a Chicago Social Services Delegation

Four National Association of Social Workers (NASW) members were selected for a delegation to travel to Shanghai, China, in October 2015 to learn about and advise on service strategies for older adults in this city of 24 million people. This presentation will include an overview of Shanghai’s approach to services, delegates’ observations and lessons learned, and potential applicability for approaches in Chicago.
