It has been four years since the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami struck the Tohoku region of Japan. It was one of the most damaging natural disasters of all time, and recovery will take a long time. Photographers of the Nikkei News’ Photo Department still travel to the affected region and have recorded the changing landscapes of the towns and cities since the disaster.
