The Chicago-Forum48 will bring together leaders from government, higher education, business and the real estate (place-maker) community to share ideas and encourage collaboration. The inaugural Forum will be held in conjunction with the Urban Land Institute’s Fall Meeting in Chicago on November 5–8, 2013. It will explore what it takes to create a successful knowledge city and offer participants the opportunity to:
- Share Insights – through case studies from around the world that look at the trends, issues and opportunities facing knowledge cities.
- Build Connections – The Forum will bring together government, the business community and higher education leaders to help foster dialogue and build connections between them.
- Discover Chicago – With over 350,000 students in 30 universities, Chicago is a showcase of Knowledge City challenges and opportunities.
