China Zhejiang-Illinois Investment and Trade Symposium and Luncheon

The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Zhejiang Provincial Government, Zhejiang Department of Commerce, Zhejiang International Investment Promotion Center and Wanxiang America Corporation, will be hosting the “Zhejiang – Illinois Investment & Trade Symposium & Luncheon” honoring the high level government and business delegation of 40 members.

The goal of the delegation’s visit is to explore business and economic opportunities with Chicago and develop new partnerships with the State of Illinois. The Symposium will focus on the discussions of inbound and outbound investments as well as trade opportunities between our regions. The event will be followed by a Business to Business Matchmaking Session. Attendees and participants at the event will learn about unique business opportunities, network and make meaningful connections with government and business executives from China.

About Zhejiang Province:
Zhejiang province is located on the eastern coast of China, bordering Shanghai to the north and Fujian to the south. At least 154 of the world’s top 500 enterprises have invested in Zhejiang. Its main industries include plastics and injection molding, finance, metal fabrication, textiles and dyes, and motor machinery. In addition, Zhejiang’s financial institutions are strong performers, consistently accounting for over one tenth of China’s financial revenue.
