European Jazz Meets Chicago

The Umbrella Music Festival opens with two nights of free concerts known as European Jazz Meets Chicago, co-presented by Umbrella Music and eight different European consulates and cultural organizations. This groundbreaking collaborative format, in its seventh incarnation, will take place at the Chicago Cultural Center on Wednesday, November 6, and Thursday, November 7.

Produced in partnership with The Austrian Consulate General, The Goethe Institut Chicago, The Consulate General of France, The Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Chicago, The Consulate General of Poland, The Consulate General of Sweden, The Consulate General of Switzerland, and The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
