The Chicago Cultural Alliance is presenting the International Cultural Exchange Symposium: Remaking Identity Through The Lens of Art and Disaspora Today social and political issues in one country can reverberate around the globe. How can these issues affect and be affected by the cultural arts of the communities who experience them? And how can communities across global diasporas join together to create greater impact? Join a panel of international speakers for a conversation about the challenges and opportunities of working across diasporas to engage contemporary social issues through art and culture. Light refreshments will be served.
