Make Music Chicago

Come play a part in a live, one day music festival open to all who want to join, celebrating everyone’s ability to make music.

Make Music Chicago is a day-long, citywide, DIY music festival that celebrates the musician in us all. Make Music Chicago encourages all Chicagoans to make music regardless of age, ability or preferred musical style.

Based on the Fête de la Musique, Make Music Chicago was first presented by Rush Hour Concerts in 2011 at the request of French Consul General Graham Paul. Chicago joins 700 cities across the globe, making the Fête de la Musique the world’s largest single day music celebration.

Various artists will be performing throughout Chicago. To see the 2016 schedule and to find out more, click here.
